PARTNERSHIP

A Better Way to Support the Hundred

Doc's Boutique is designed as more than an apparel storefront. It is a centralized merchandise, fulfillment, and community-support system created to serve Marching "100" members, alumni, families, supporters, and affiliated organizations while reducing the administrative burden traditionally associated with merchandise sales.

The goal is simple: provide a consistent place for the community to shop, organize merchandise initiatives, support students, and celebrate the culture of the Marching "100" without requiring students, band staff, or organizational leadership to manage day-to-day production and fulfillment.

THE SYSTEM

What Doc's Boutique Provides

01

Centralized Storefront

Doc's Boutique provides one organized retail environment for individual merchandise, member-exclusive products, supporter merchandise, commemorative collections, class and section initiatives, and approved group orders.

Rather than creating a new ordering process for every merchandise initiative, customers can use a familiar storefront with standardized ordering, payment, fulfillment, and customer-service processes.

02

Member-Exclusive Access

Select merchandise can be reserved specifically for verified current and alumni members of the Marching "100".

Member eligibility is connected to an individual customer account rather than relying solely on a shared storefront password. This allows Doc's Boutique to maintain public and supporter merchandise while providing additional access to customers whose membership has been verified.

03

Production & Fulfillment

Doc's Boutique manages the storefront and customer ordering experience while T-Shirt Envy handles apparel production and fulfillment in Tallahassee.

Orders are collected through the storefront and consolidated into scheduled production batches. Completed orders can be shipped directly to customers or made available for local pickup.

04

Group Ordering

Doc's Boutique can provide centralized ordering infrastructure for approved group merchandise initiatives.

Customers place their own orders through the storefront, reducing the need for organizations, classes, or sections to manually collect payments, sizes, addresses, and individual order information.

REAL-TIME OVERSIGHT

Built-In Transparency

Doc's Boutique is designed to provide authorized organizational leadership with direct visibility into relevant store activity.

Designated representatives may be provided individual administrative access to Shopify with permissions appropriate to their role. This can provide real-time visibility into order activity, sales performance, and revenue generation without requiring the organization to independently operate the storefront.

Administrative permissions can be limited according to responsibility, providing stakeholders with appropriate oversight while maintaining separation between reporting access and operational control.

Direct visibility. Defined permissions. Independent oversight. Participating stakeholders can access relevant store information without depending solely on manually prepared sales reports.
COMMUNITY IMPACT

Scholarship & Community Support

Doc's Boutique is intended to create value beyond merchandise. Designated proceeds from eligible Doc's Boutique initiatives may support the Golden Cymbal Scholarship and other approved community-support efforts.

The scholarship component is designed to invest directly in students who demonstrate leadership, service, commitment, and positive contribution to the band community.

By incorporating these initiatives into the retail structure, merchandise purchases can become an additional mechanism for supporting students and strengthening the broader Marching "100" community.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Roles & Responsibilities

Doc's Boutique

Operates the storefront, organizes merchandise and collections, manages the customer experience, coordinates member-access systems, facilitates group-order infrastructure, and administers applicable Doc's Boutique initiatives.

T-Shirt Envy

Handles apparel production and fulfillment, including preparation of customer orders for shipment or local pickup.

Participating Organizations

May provide guidance, approve applicable initiatives, participate in eligibility or verification processes where appropriate, and receive access to relevant reporting and store activity based on the nature of the partnership.

This structure allows each participant to remain focused on its appropriate role rather than shifting merchandise production, payment collection, fulfillment, or customer-service responsibilities onto students or organizational leadership.

BRAND STEWARDSHIP

Licensing & Brand Stewardship

Doc's Boutique is intended to operate within applicable licensing, trademark, and brand-use requirements.

Products requiring authorization will be offered for retail sale only through the appropriate licensing and production framework.

The current storefront is presented as a working concept for stakeholder review while applicable licensing and launch requirements are being completed.

Member verification and merchandise eligibility are separate from licensing requirements. Restricting an item to verified members does not replace any licensing or authorization otherwise required for the product.

COLLABORATION

Potential Partnership Opportunities

A Doc's Boutique partnership can be structured around the needs and responsibilities of the participating organization.

Approved Merchandise Initiatives Verified Member Access Membership Benefits Group Ordering Supporter Merchandise Commemorative Collections Scholarship Initiatives Community Support Sales Transparency

The platform is designed to support these initiatives without requiring participating organizations to build or independently operate an e-commerce and fulfillment system.

COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT

Where the Impact Goes

Doc's Boutique is designed to create sustainable support for both students and the broader Marching "100" community. After direct order-related costs are accounted for, defined net proceeds are allocated across scholarship support, community initiatives, and continued business operations.

How Net Proceeds Are Defined

Together, the Golden Cymbal Scholarship Fund and Doc's Boutique Community Support Fund represent a commitment to reinvesting the majority of defined net proceeds into students and the broader Marching "100" community.

LOW-ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT

Support Without the Operational Burden

Doc's Boutique is designed to create an ongoing merchandise and community-support structure without requiring participating organizations or band leadership to operate an e-commerce business.

Doc's Boutique manages the storefront, customer ordering, payment collection, merchandise organization, member-access systems, and customer experience. T-Shirt Envy manages apparel production and fulfillment.

This structure allows participating organizations and the broader Marching "100" community to benefit from merchandise activity while minimizing the administrative responsibilities traditionally associated with selling apparel.
