Golden Cymbal Scholarship Fund
The Golden Cymbal Scholarship was created to support dedicated student musicians and leaders who embody service, commitment, and impact within the band community. Founded through proceeds and initiatives connected to Doc’s Boutique, the scholarship honors the legacy and work of student leaders who helped strengthen and uplift the culture surrounding the band program as a whole.
The scholarship is named after AJM, representing Ariana J. Montgomery and Amanda Jean-Mary, two former Golden Cymbals Club presidents whose leadership, advocacy, and dedication helped shape opportunities and visibility for future members. More than a financial award, the scholarship represents investment in students who contribute to their organizations through consistency, initiative, creativity, mentorship, and service to others.
A portion of select Doc’s Boutique proceeds will directly support scholarship funding, allowing supporters to contribute back to the band through every purchase. The long-term vision of the AJM* Golden Cymbal Scholarship is to create sustainable support for students exuding excellence in music, leadership, academics, and service while preserving the spirit and impact of the Marching "100".
