The Golden Cymbal Scholarship Fund was created to support dedicated student musicians who demonstrate commitment, leadership, service, and positive impact within the band community.

Supported through designated proceeds and initiatives connected to Doc’s Boutique, the fund provides financial assistance through two scholarship opportunities:

Band Camp Scholarship
Awarded to a deserving band camp participant to provide financial assistance toward returning to the program for a future band camp. The award recognizes a camper who demonstrates musicianship, commitment, growth, leadership potential, and a positive contribution to the camp community.

Academic Scholarship
Awarded to an eligible student musician in recognition of academic achievement, musicianship, leadership, service, and meaningful involvement within the band community. The scholarship provides financial assistance toward the recipient’s educational expenses.

A portion of proceeds from select Doc’s Boutique sales supports the Golden Cymbal Scholarship Fund, helping create continued opportunities for student musicians through both band camp and academic scholarships.

The long-term vision of the Golden Cymbal Scholarship Fund is to create sustainable support for student musicians at different stages of their development, from promising band camp participants to students pursuing their academic and musical goals.
